Aggravated Assault

This week, Crime Stoppers needs your help in identifying the persons responsible for an aggravated assault that occurred just after 1:00 a.m. on June 11, 2008 in the area of 15 Worobetz Place.

Police were dispatched to the area after getting a call of an injured male lying on the ground near the south side of the building. The male was in serious condition, having received severe injuries to his body from what is possibly a longer bladed knife.

Witness information states that one male in a white hoodie was nearby watching as another male in a black jacket with white stripes on the arms was beating the victim.

The suspects fled the scene together on foot, meeting up with two more males, those two  dressed in dark clothing, and all of them continued to flee north through the parking lot toward Confederation Drive.

The victim was transported to hospital and is still recovering from his wounds. 

Police seized an 8” cardboard sheath with black tape on it from the scene, and the clothing worn by the victim that night which shows the extent of violence used to assault the victim.
